So what better time to do it than over winter when you won’t be planning to sit in it. This means by the time the sun is shining, the weather is warming up and it’s time to get that parasol up and the bbq on, your garden will be looking beautiful and you can

2. A lot of trees and plants are dormant at this time of year meaning they are less likely to be affected by landscaping works being carried out.
3. Winter is a great time to lay turf as it gives the turf time to settle and root before the summer months. Everyone wants that lush green carpet effect for their grass. Your lawn is like any other plant, it needs time to embed itself for you to be able to reap the benefits so winter is the perfect time to lay a new lawn.
4. Wildlife is less likely to be disturbed during the Winter months.
We should all be doing our bit to support our wildlife, so the winter months when all is quiet is the perfect time to ensure you aren’t disturbing nesting birds etc. and we are always extremely careful so as not to disturb any hibernating hedgehogs.
5. You are less likely to disturb your neighbours at this time of year as they will likely be indoors.
